Bob Forrest started Bike for Bibles back in 1984, with a vision of using cycling as a means of raising money to spread the Good News of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Since then Bike for Bibles rides in Australia have raised over Twelve million Dollars to fund many Bible Society Mission Projects here in Australia and around the World.
And with Bob’s incredible vision, Bike for Bibles rides are now held in a large number of overseas countries.
So many people have benefited through Bible Society Mission Projects with the funds raised from Bike for Bibles rides since 1984. And a large number of those people have come into a personal and living relationship with Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us as we cycle 889 kilometres from Sydney to Melbourne to celebrate Bob’s Vision of Spreading the Good News of Jesus, and to continue with the fantastic tradition of Bike For Bibles rides.
